We had a fantastic week in London concluding our Cinderella tour. Enormous numbers of you showed your warmth and appreciation both on-line and in the audorium itself! The production has taken a lot of work by a vast number of people, so your support is gratefully received.

We’re able to announce that we’ll be back in the capital again this autumn, at Sadler’s Wells Theatre. Tickets aren’t yet on sale, but here are the dates and details of the two programmes that we’ll be dancing:

18-19 October 2011
Autumn Glory
A programme of three one-act ballets featuring Checkmate (‘Unforgettable images and plenty of theatrical vigour that doesn’t seem to age’ – The Times), Symphonic Variations (‘A timeless masterpiece’ – The Stage) and Pineapple Poll (‘It is that rarest of delights, a true balletic comedy’ – The Financial Times).

20-22 October 2011
La Fille mal gardée
Funny, tender and true, this lovely ballet of rural bliss (which topped our recent list of splashes of on-stage sunshine!) will put a spectacular spring in your step!

Sleeping Beauty

Birmingham Royal Ballet is delighted to confirm a 2010 Easter season at the London Coliseum.

The visit will follow the success of this April’s season at the venue, and is in addition to Birmingham Royal Ballet’s autumn 2009 season at Sadler’s Wells.

While full details are yet to be announced, the visit is scheduled for the week commencing 18 April 2010, and the Company will perform the full-length family classic The Sleeping Beauty.

Chief Executive Christopher Barron spoke of the news, saying ‘We are delighted to be returning to the Coliseum! April’s visit was a huge success, and this will be the fourth time in just two years that we have been able to fly the flag for Birmingham in the nation’s capital.’

Booking details will be announced in the near future.
