Have you read the reviews of your performances in the Munich papers? “…Orchestra played too loud”…”Museum pieces”…”Kitschy decor “….etc.

Unfortunately I was not able to see the performances at the Nationaltheater in Munich .I really would like to have seen “Checkmate” and “The Dream” – especially after I found out that Anthony Dowell coached the dancers. But I am seeing this masterpiece at ABT in New York City with various casts. What I found interesting that there seem to be no mention of the fact that the the Munich reviewers thought that both ballets were old fashioned and “kitschy”…and not worthwhile bringing to Munich ….is the company aware of the reaction of the Munich press and from what I heard from ballet fans in Munich ? Did any of the dancers comment on their experience…one is curious…..
